Komal Kumar has two hit films this year. After Kathe Chitrakathe Nirdeshana Puttanna became a hit in January, in the middle of the year, his new film Deal Raja is turning out to be another hit.

The film directed by Rajgopi Surya was released on Friday and the weekend collection was more than anticipated though it was competing with other film . The word of the mouth publicity was good for the film though it released in limited screens. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday also the film has managed good collections at the box office.

This Friday therefore some 40-50 new theatres are adding Deal Raja. The producer was hoping that the film will take a slow pick up. But the comedy film has managed to attract good number of audience from the first week itself. 2016 therefore is turning out to be a very good year for Komal.

The film has a large number of comedy actors and also a strong supporting cast which has worked in its favour. As per conservative estimates the film may gross around Rs 1.5 crore in the first week. With no big film releasing till August 12, the film is expected to continue its good box office run.
